Privacy Policy
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how I, Thomas Unise, collect, use, and protect information when you visit thomasunise.com or otherwise get in touch with me about consulting work. I built this site to be as lean as possible on data collection — I'm not running an ad business, and I don't want more information about you than I need to do good work and respond to your inquiry.
This policy is written in plain English for a small, independent consulting practice. It's provided for general information and isn't a substitute for legal advice. If you have questions about how a specific engagement handles data, that will be addressed in our separate written agreement.
Information I Collect
I collect information in a few limited ways:
- Information you send me directly — your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything else you include when you email me, fill out a contact form, or otherwise reach out about a project.
- Email and analytics data — if you email me, standard email metadata (address, timestamps, message content) is retained in my inbox. If this site uses analytics tools, they may collect aggregate, anonymized-where-possible data such as pages visited, referring site, device/browser type, and approximate location.
- Basic site logs — like most websites, the hosting infrastructure behind thomasunise.com may automatically log technical details such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and troubleshooting purposes.
How I Use It
I use the information I collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and follow up on potential engagements.
- Deliver the services covered by any signed agreement between us.
- Understand how visitors use this site and improve its content and performance.

I don't use the information you share with me to send unsolicited marketing, and I don't use it for any purpose beyond what's reasonably related to the reason you provided it.

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. International Visitors
This site is operated from the United States. If you're visiting from outside the U.S., understand that any information you provide may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Children's Privacy
This site and my services are intended for business professionals and are not directed at children. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to me, please contact me and I'll delete it promptly.
